Area of a parallelogram = Base × Height

Let's consider base = 10cm.

Height = 4cm.

Area = 10cm ×4cm = 40 sqr cm.

Let's consider the height between longer sides = h cm.

Since the area becomes same,

So :--- 8× h = 10× 4

Therefore , h = 10× 4/ 8

h = 5 cm,

Ans:-- the length of longer side will be 5cm.
