Given :-

  • Perimeter of the rectangle = 130 cm
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 30 cm

To Find :-

  • Area of the rectangle.

Solution :-

Perimeter of the rectangle :-

:\implies\sf{130=2(l+b)}

:\implies\sf{130=2(l+30)}

:\implies\sf{130=2l+60}

:\implies\sf{2l=130-60}

:\implies\sf{2l=70}

:\implies\sf{l=\dfrac{70}{2} }

\sf:\implies \underline{\boxed{\pink{\mathfrak{l = 35\:cm}}}}

∴ Length of the rectangle = 35 cm

Now,

Area of the rectangle :-

:\implies\sf{Area=l\times b}

:\implies\sf{Area =35\times 30}

\sf:\implies \underline{\boxed{\pink{\mathfrak{Area= 1050\:cm}}}}

∴ Area of the rectangle = 1050 cm.
