8. The areas of two similar triangles are 49 cm and 25 cm. If the altitude of the first triangle is 2.8 cm ,find the corresponding altitude of the other triangle.​

Ratio of area of two similar triangles =ratio of square of corresponding altitudes

Let the altitude of other triangle be x cm

so, 49/25=(2.8)^2/x^2

by solving this equation we will get ,x= 2 cm
