LCM of two numbers is 1

TO FIND,

SOLUTION,

We know that the HCF of the two numbers is 3 and the LCM of the two numbers is 9. Also, we know that the multiplication of HCF and LCM is equal to the product of the two numbers. Hence,

$HCF * LCM = A * B$

Where HCF (Highest common factor)

          LCM(Least common multiple)

$3 *1 = 9 * B$

$3 = 9 * B$

$3/9 = B$

$1/3 =B$

Hence if the HCF of two numbers is 3 and their LCM is 1. If one number is 9,  the other number is $1/3$.
