Answer:

Length = 9 × 5 = 45

Breadth = 9 × 1 = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter = 108

108 ÷ 12 = 9

So,

Length = 9 × 5 = 45

Breadth = 9 × 1 = 9

As per data given in the question,

We have to determine the length and breadth of the field if the length of a rectangular field is 5 times its breadth and The length of a rectangular field is 5 times its breadth.

Let the breadth of the field is =x\:m

So, length of the field will be =5\times x = 5x\:m

As we know that,

Perimeter of rectangle =2{l+b)

So,

108 = 2(x+5x)\\12x = 108\\x = \frac{108}{12} = 9\:m

Hence, length of the field will be =5x =(5\times 9)  = 45\:m

While the breadth of the field will be =x = 9\:m
