hence h = x + 14

by Pythagoras theorem we can say that

h² = x² + (42)²

(x + 14)² = x² + (42)²

x² + 28x + 196 + x2 - 1764 = 0

28x - 1568 = 0

28x = 1568

x = 56

hence h = 70m

Area of triangular field =

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 42 \times 56 \\  = 1176 {m}^{2}
