Given:-
- Molecular mass of oxygen is 32.
To find :-
- What is the GMM of O2
- How many moles of molecules are there in 64g of oxygen? How amny molecules are there in it .
- Calculate the number of oxygen atoms present in 64g of oxygen.
Explanation :-
Case i)
- Here we should find Gram molecular mass
- GMM of O2 = 2× 16=32.
Case ii)
- No of mole molecules =Mass/GMM=64/32=2.
- No of molecules = mole × 6.022×10^23
- =2×6.022×10^23.
Case iii)
- No of atoms = Number of molecules ×no of molecules in one molecules
- Number of atoms = 2×6.022×10^23×2
- Number of oxygen atom present in 64g of oxygen is = 4×6.022×10^23
Hope it helps u mate .
Thank you .
