Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

Perimeter of a circular court yard = 154 m

To find -

The area of the court yard

Solution -

To find the area, first we have to find the radius of circle.

We know that Perimeter (Circumference) of circle = 2πr

so

2\pi r  = 154 \\  =  > \pi r = 154 \div 2  \\   =  >  \frac{22}{7} r = 77 \\  =  > 22r = 77 \times 7 \\  =  > 22r = 539 \\  =  > r = 539 \div 22 \\  =  > r = 24.5 \\

Hence radius = 24.5 m

Now area of circle = πr²

area = \pi {r}^{2}  \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 24.5 \times 24.5 \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{245}{10} \times   \frac{245}{10}  \\   = 22 \times  \frac{35}{10} \times  \frac{245}{10}     \\ =   11 \times7 \times  \frac{245}{10}  \\  =  \frac{18865}{10}  \\  = 1886.5 {m}^{2}

Hence the area = 1886.5 .

hope it helps.
