let the length of the third side be X

length of other sides = 2x

perimeter of the triangle = 55 ( given)

sum of all sides of triangle = 55

2x + 2x + X = 55

5x = 55

X = 55 / 5

X = 11cm

1st side = 2 X = 2 × 11 = 22cm

2nd side = 2x = 2 × 11 = 22cm

3rd side = X = 11cm
