Find the area of the quadrant:

Area = 1/4 πr²

Area = 1/4 (3.14)(10)² = 78.5 cm²

Find the area of square:

Area = Length x Length

Area = 10 x 10 = 100 cm²

Find the area of the square not covered by the quadrant :

(indicated as region A in the attachment)

Area = 100 - 78.5 = 21.5 cm²

Find the area of the square not covered by the other quadrant :

(indicated as region B in the attachment)

Area = Area of region A = 21.5 cm²

Find the area common between the two quadrants:

Area = Area of the square - Region A = Region B

Area = 100 - 21.5 - 21.5 = 57 cm²

Answer: The area is 57 cm²
