Answer:

Let the three consecutive numbers be (x), (x+1) and (x+2)

Given that their product is divisible by 6

So,

 \frac{(x) (x+1) (x+2)}{6} = 1 \\ (x) (x+1) (x+2) = 6

This is in the form ABC = D

So either of A, B or C must be equal to D

  • X =6
  • When X+1=6 so, x =5
  • When X+2 =6 so x=4

Hence the three consecutive numbers are 4,5,6
