8. The ratio of girl and boys in a school is 5 : 7. If there is 150 more boys in the school, then find the
total students in the school.

Boys= 525. Girls=375

150 more means 7x-5x=150

Therefore, 2x=150

x=75

No. of boys= 7*75=525

No.of girls= 5*75=375
