a) -2, 0

Solution :-

we know that, for quadratic polynomial ax² + bx + c ,

  • sum of zeros = (-b/a)
  • product of zeros = c/a .

comparing given quadratic polynomial 4x² - 1 with ax² + bx + c we get,

  • a = 4
  • b = 0
  • c = (-1)

so,

→ sum of zeros = (-b/a) = 0/4 = 0

product of zeros = c/a = (-1/4)

therefore, option (c) 0, (-1/4) is correct answer.
