(1) area of the parallelogram. (i) the height corresponding to the base AD.
to find
- (1) area of the parallelogram.
- (i) the height corresponding to the base AD.
answer
4•5cm.
solusion
⟼(1) Area of parallelogram = bxh
⟼= 6 cm x 3 cm = 18 cm
⟼(ii base (b) = 4 cm, height = x (say),
⟼Area = 18 cm
⟼Area of parallelogram = b *x A B.
⟼18 = 4*x
⟼18/4=x.
⟼Therefore, x = 4.5 cm
⟼Thus, the height corresponding to base AD is 4.5 cm.
hope it's helps you
