Explanation:

We know, the area of v - t graph gives us the measure of distance traveled by any body.

Area of triangle OAD = 1/2×base×height

=> 1/2 × 3 × 20

=> 3 × 10

=> 30 sq. units

Area of ABDE (rectangle) = length × breadth

=> 20 × 1

=> 20 sq. units

Area of triangle EBC = 1/2 × base × height

=> 1/2 × 1 × 20

=> 10 × 1

=> 10 sq. units

So, the total area of v - t graph = OAD + EBC + Rectangle ABDE

= 30 + 10 + 20

= 60 sq. units

Option (1) 60 m is the distance traveled by the particle.
