There are 14 boys and 25 girls in a school
badminton team. Find the ratio of
(i) the number of boys to the number of girls,
(ii) the number of girls to the total number of
players in the team.​

1)

ratio of the number of boys to the number of girls = number of boys/number of girls

= 14/25

so ratio = 14:25

2)

ratio of the number of girls to the total number of

players in the team

= number of girls/ number of boys + girls

= 25/14 + 25

= 25/39

so ratio = 25:39
