Explanation:

Amount paid by Indra and Bhanu for the motorboat = Rs 25 + Rs 25 = Rs 50

Amount paid by Indra and Bhanu for the oar boat = Rs 15 + Rs 15 = Rs 30

Total amount paid by them for the motorboat and the oar boat = Rs 50 + Rs 30 = Rs 80

Time taken for the motorboat ride = 20 minutes

Time taken for the oar boat ride = 45 minutes

Total time taken for both the rides = 20 + 45 = 65 minutes

(b) Total amount paid by group of children for the double-decker trip = Rs 450

Cost of the double-decker ride per child = Rs 30

Number of children =450÷ 30 = 15

Thus, number of children who went for the double-decker trip = 15

(c) We know 1 hour = 60 minutes

As paddle boat takes 30 minutes to complete one trip.

So, the paddle boat will make 2 trips in 60 minutes or in 1 hour.

(d) We know Half an hour = 30 minutes

As the motorboat takes 20 minutes to complete one trip

So, the motor boat takes less than 30 minutes or half an hour to complete a trip.

(e) Both the boat with oars and the paddle boat have the least ticket price which is Rs 15 but boat with oars gives a ride of 45 minutes in one trip which greater than that by paddle boat.

Thus, boat with oars gives them the most time taking the least money.

(f)Amount paid by Javed for two boats =Rs 40

Total time spent by him on two boats = 50 minutes

From the table, Cost of paddle boat and motorboat trips = 15 + 25 = Rs 40

And also tame take by the two boats = 30 + 20 = 50 minutes

Thus,Javed took the paddle boat and motorboat trips.
