Number in chemistry = 40

Number in physics = 60

Average is given as:

$Average = \frac{ \text{ sum of weight }}{ \text{ number of members }}$

The average weight of  Chemistry section is 44 kgs

Therefore,

$44 = \frac{ \text{ sum of weight in chemistry }}{ 40 }\\\\\text{ sum of weight in chemistry } = 44 \times 40\\\\\text{ sum of weight in chemistry } = 1760$

The average weight of  Physics  section is 66 kgs

Therefore,

$66 = \frac{ \text{ weight in physics }}{ 60 }\\\\\text{ weight in physics } = 66 \times 60\\\\\text{ weight in physics } = 3960$

Find the average weight of all  the students in kgs

$Average = \frac{ 1760 + 3960 }{ 40 + 60 }\\\\Average = \frac{ 5720}{100}\\\\Average = 57.2$

Thus average weight of all  the students is 57.2 kg
