was three times the age (in years) of his
daughter. Six years hence, the age (in years)
of Saleem will be 4 years more than twice

after two years is current scenario.

saleem's current age = 3*x + 2.

daughter's current age = x+ 2;

now 6 years later ,

saleem's age = 3*x + 2 + 6;

daughter's age = x+2+6;

equation given =>

saleem's age = 2*age of daugher + 4.

3*x+8 = 2*( x+8) + 4

3*x-2*x = 20-8

x = 14.

current age of saleem = 3*x + 2 => 44.

daughter' age => 16.
