Trees are the wonderful things on the planet. They are the reason for the earth being green and we all can enjoy nature.

The eight uses of trees are:

1. Trees absorb carbon-di-oxide and release oxygen into the air which is useful for the human beings. That means trees will absorb toxic gases present in the air, protecting human life.
2. Trees release water vapour into the air which means it helps to decrease the temperature present in the atmosphere.
3. We obtain fruits, flowers, leafy vegetables and shadow from trees only.
4. We get many products like gum, paper, wood, rubber by which we can make many useful things like wooden chairs, tables, furniture, notebooks, pencil, eraser etc.
5. There are medicinal plants which give medicine made from Tulsi plant, pudina plant and many others.
6. Trees prevent the soil erosion.
7. There is adverse effect of ultraviolet rays due to decrease in ozone layer. So the trees prevent these rays falling on earth.
8. All the food products like rice, wheat, jowar, bajra, etc all come from plants. They are useful for survival.
