→Solution:

Given:

             8 workers↔40days

             20 workers↔x days

⇔We have,Inverse Variation here.

ie,More the workers,less the days will be.

⇒So 8×40=20×x

⇒320=20x

⇒x=320÷20

⇒∴x=16days

∴If 8 workers can do a work in 40 days,20 workers will do it in 16 days.
