During the region of Louis XVI the french society was divide into 3 Estates .

1st Estate (Clergy) :- Comprise relatives of King .

2nd Estate (Nobility) :- Comprise noble person .

3rd Estates (Common People) :- Comprise Peasant , Artisans , Landless Labour , Servant , Merchants , Lawyers and Big Businessman .

The member of first and second estates enjoyed certain privileges by birth . The most important was exemption from paying taxes to the state .
