Solution :

8 ( x - 3 ) - ( 6 - 2x ) = 2 ( x + 2 ) - 5 ( 5 - x )

Expanding the given equation we get,

=> 8x - 24 - 6 + 2x = 2x + 4 - 25 + 5x

=> 10x - 30 = 7x + 21

Transposing all the terms having 'x' on the Left Hand Side we get,

=> 10x - 7x = 21 + 30

=> 3x = 51

=> x = 51 / 3 = 17

Hence the value of x in [ 8 ( x - 3 ) - ( 6 - 2x ) = 2 ( x + 2 ) - 5 ( 5 - x ) ] is 17.
