Heya mate! Here is your answer ✌☺☺

\dfrac{8}{\sqrt{x}} = \dfrac{72}{108}

Cross - multiply,

➾ 108 × 8 = 72 × √x

➾ 864 = 74√x

Divide both sides by 72,

➾ 12 = √x

Switch the sides,

➾ √x = 12

To get the value of x, multiply 12 by 12 to remove the root sign from x,

➾ x = 12 × 12

➾ x = 144

∴ The number is 144

Verification :-

\dfrac{8}{\sqrt{x}} = \dfrac{72}{108}

\dfrac{8}{\sqrt{144}} = \dfrac{72}{108}

\dfrac{8}{12} = \dfrac{72}{108}

Divide \dfrac{8}{12} by 2 and \dfrac{72}{108} by 36

\dfrac{2}{3} = \dfrac{2}{3}

∴ LHS = RHS ✔✔
