8(x + y)³ - 2(x + y)

= {2(x + y)}³ - 2(x + y)

=2(x + y).2²(x + y)² - 2(x + y)

take 2(x + y) common

= 2(x + y){2²(x + y)² - 1}

=2(x + y)(4(x² + y² + 2xy) -1 }

= 2(x + y)(4x² + 4y² + 8xy -1 }

hence, 2, (x + y) and (4x² + 4y² + 8xy -1) are factors of given expression.
