Person will put his bag and thereafter travels 10 m

to reach the nearest coin and then travels 10 m back to put the nearest coin in the bag. Tus total distance travelled for putting the nearest coin in bag = 20 m. Similarly for second nearest coin this will be 40 m .

Tota distance travelled =

20 + 40 + 60 + 80 + upto 80 terms.

= 80/2 { 2 ×20 + (80 - 1) 20 } = 4800 m
