There will be 40 10 paise coins and 40 50 paise coins because 50×40=2000 paise means =20 rupees and 10×40=400 paise which means =4 rupees so 20+4 rupees=24 rupees

Answer: NO of 50 rupees coins are 40 coins

NO of 10 rupees coins are 40 coins

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Number of coins in the purse is 80

Total no. of  rupees in purse are 24 rupees = 24*100=2400 paise

let the coins of 50 paise be x

Let the coins of 10 paise be (80-x)

ATQ-

50x + 10(80-x) = 2400

50x + 800-10x = 2400

40x + 800 = 2400

40x = (2400-800) = 1600

x = 1600/40

x = 40

so, no. of 50 paise coins in the purse = x = 40 coins

no. of 10 paise coins in the purse = (80-x) = (80-40) = 40 coins
