No. of students maintaining collection of different types of items = 80% of x

= 80/100 × x

= 4x/5

Students collecting old coins = 40% of 4x/5

= 40/100 × 4x/5

= 8x/25

Students collecting pebbles = 45% of 4x/5

= 45/100 × 4x/5

= 9x/25

Students collecting stamps = 45
