Answer :-

  • u = 0 \dfrac{m}{s}

  • s = 400m

  • t= 20 seconds

  • A = ?

  • F = ?

a. The net acceleration force :-

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⟹ Force exerted - friction force

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⟹ 40,000N - 5,000N

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⟹ 35,000N

b. Acceleration of train (a) :-

  • Force = 35,000N

Mass of 5 wagons filled by engine

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 5×2000

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀=10000 kg

{\boxed{\large{\bold{F\:=\:ma}}}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⟹ 35,000 = 1000 × a

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⟹ a =  \dfrac{35000}{10000}

A = 3.5 {m}^{2}
