Subordinating conjunctions are used to join independent and dependent clauses in a sentence. Some common subordinating conjunctions are because, since, as, although, though, while.
Examples:-
(a) My brother is crying because he lost his toy somewhere in the park.
(b) She went to bed at 9 pm as she had a plane to catch at 7 pm.
↪ Correlative Conjunctions:
Correlative conjunctions are pairs of conjunctions that can work only as a pair. It is used to connect two balanced phrases or clauses. Either/or, Neither/nor are the common correlative conjunctions.
Examples:-
(a) You can choose either red or blue.
(b) Jessica can neither see nor speak.
