If 'a ' and ' b ' are two positive integers their HCF = h , and LCM = l 

then,

                          a × b = h × l

According to the problem 

write given number 87 and 145 as product of prime.

87 = 3 × 29

145 = 5 ×29

HCF ( 87 , 145 ) = product of common prime factors = 29

LCM = maximum powers of prime factors =  3 × 5 ×29 = 435
