CO = 12 + 16 = 28g

CO2 = 12 + 32 = 44g

28 g of CO has volume 22400 ml

1g of CO has volume 22400/ 28=800 ml

44 g of CO2 has volume 22400

1g of CO2 has volume 22400/ 44 ml=509.09 ml

or

NTP is the abbreviation for normal temperature and pressure.  

Molecular weight of CO = 12 + 16 = 28g

Molecular weight of  = 12 + 32 = 44g

At, NTP  

28 g of CO has volume = 22400 ml

Therefore, by unitary method,

1g of CO has volume = 22400/ 28 = 800 ml

And, likewise

44 g of = 22400 ml

Thus, 1g of   22400/ 44 ml = 509.09 ml
