Answer :-

As given :-

▪️Mass of NaOH = 8 g

▪️Mass of  H_2O = 18 g

Now as we know

▪️Density of water = 1g/cc

▪️Molar mass of NaOH = 40 g

Then

▪️ Volume of water = 18 g × 1g/cc

= 18 ml

▪️So , the Volume of solution present = 18 ml or 1.8 \times 10^{-2} l

,▪️Moles of Solute = 8/40 = 1/5 moles

Then as Molarity

\dfrac{\texttt{No of moles of Solute}}{\texttt{Volume of solution in liter}}

 = \dfrac{\dfrac{1}{5}}{1.8 \times 10^{-2}}

 = \dfrac{10^2}{5 \times 1.8}

 = \dfrac{50}{1.8}

 = 27.8 \: molar \: solution
