On subtracting :

(8 {k}^{2} + 4k + 6) - (7 {k}^{2} + 3k) \\ \\ = > 8 {k}^{2} + 4k + 6 - 7 {k}^{2} - 3k \\ \\ = > 8 {k}^{2} - 7 {k}^{2} + 4k - 3k + 6 \\ \\ = > {k}^{2} (8 - 7) + k(4 - 3) + 6 \\ \\ = > {k}^{2} + k + 6

Answer : k²+k+6
