Hi there.....

The first thing is how we know if a number is a perfect square. So the numbers ending with

8

3 and

odd no. of zeros

are not perfect squares.

Squares of 1 to 10 should be known-

1^2 - 1

2 - 4

3 - 9

4 - 16

5 - 25

6 - 36

7 - 49

8 - 64

9 - 81

10 - 100

There are 2 methods for taking out the square -

1. Prime factorizing
2. Division method

I will tell you the prime factorization method-

(we will do the square root of 36)

now we will take the pairs......(2 pairs of each number)

2 , 2 , 3 ,3

we will multiply them and the answer would be the square root.....

2 × 3 = 6^2 = 36

Now I will tell how do we make a number a perfect square....

(we will take any number.....say 12 and prime factories it then we will find that the factors are not in pairs....either one no. would be extra to pair or one would be less....son we will divide or multiply by the missing number.)

how to take out a square-

for ex: 30...so... 30 × 30 is the square = 900
