"a = {(\frac{-5}{9})}^{-5}

=> {a}^{-2}  = {({(\frac{-5}{9})}^{-5})}^{-2}

=> {a}^{-2}  = {\frac{-5}{9}}^{-5-2}

=> {a}^{-2}  = {(\frac{-5}{9})}^{-7}

=> {a}^{-2}  =  {(\frac{9}{-5})}^{7}
