Forests contribute to rainfall due to transpiration from the leaves which result in land formation and rainfall. Tall trees also help in stopping the water filled clouds and causing rainfall

now as we know that plants transpire which ultimately leads to rainfall now due to deforestation no. of trees are reduced. ie. less amount of transpiration throughout the area leading to less rainfall
