8x - 2/18 - 6x = 7/3
=> 8x - 6x -2/18 = 7/3
=> 2 x = 7/3 + 2/18
=> 2x= (42+2)/18(by taking the lcm of 3&18 we get 18 as the lcm )
=> 2x = 44
=> x = 44/2
=> x = 22.
