8x +3 = 5x

=> 8x -5x = -3

=> 3x = -3

=> x = -3/3 = -1.

so,

x = -1

putting x = -1 in LHS

8x +3

= 8*( -1) +3

= -8 + 3

= -5.

now,

rhs

5x = 5 ×(-1)

= -5

so,

LHS = rhs.
