By eliminate method

multiple (1) eq by 2 and (2) by 5

16x+10y=18

15x+10y=20

put x in eq (2)

3(-2)+2y=4

-6+2y=4

2y=4+6.

2y=10

y=10/2.

y=5

y=-55/5=-11

9-8*-8/53

=55/5=11

ii)) 2y=4-3x

y= 4-3x/2

4-3*4/2

4-12/2

=-8/2

x=-4
