Hi...☺

Here is your answer...✌

==================================
8x + 5y = 9 ___(1)
3x + 2y = 4 ___(2)

On sloving eq(1)×2 and eq(2)×5

16x + 10y = 18
15x + 10y = 20
___________(By Subtracting )
x = -2

Putting x = -2 in eq(1)

8(-2)+5y = 9

-16+5y = 9

5y = 25

=> y = 5

Hence,
x = -2 and y = 5

Hi....✌✌

By substitution method

8x = 9-5y
x =( 9-5y) ÷ 8

Substituting the value of x in equation 2nd

3(9-5y)÷8 +2y = 4

(27 - 15y )÷8 = 4 -2y

27 -15y = 8(4-2y)
27 - 15y = 32 - 16y
27 -32 = -16y + 15y
-5 = -1y
y = 5

x =( 9 - 5×5 ) ÷ 8
x =( 9-25) ÷8
x = -16÷8
x = -2

✴ Hence , y = 5 and x = -2

✌✌ Hope this helps
