6y-8y=2xy       ----eq(ii)

Multiplying eq(i) by 3 and eq(ii) by 4. We get,

24y-18x=30xy

24y-32x=8xy

Subtracting both the equation above,

'y' terms gets cancelled out.And we get

14x=22xy

now cancelling x, we get y=11/7.

Now substituting y value in eq(i), we get x=11/19.
