Divide the triangle into two congruent right angled triangle with hypotenuse 15 cm and base = 18/2

=9cm

With pythagoras theorem : 15²=9²+h²

h² =225−81=144

h=12

Area of one right angled triangle = ½*b*h

1/2*9*12=54cm²

Area of isosceles triangle = 2×54 =108cm²
