Volunteers: Sir! Sir!  

Villagers: What is it boy?

Volunteers: I was roaming about with some of my friends when my team and I saw some shallow pits.

Villagers: What about those pits boy?

Volunteers: They had white egg shells in them.

Villagers: yes boy, they are turtle eggs.

Volunteers: Wait, but we have been walking about such beaches for so long, but never have seen turtle eggs.

Villagers: Yes, these beaches were shut down because of a silver smuggling case.

Volunteers: Do these turtles come back?

Villagers: yes, some do. Female turtles come to the shore to nest and to lay the eggs. These turtles used to leave their trail and poachers would steal these eggs.

Volunteers: Oh that is horrible to take away these eggs.

Villagers: No, its not fully horrible because under the Indian Wild Life Protection Act, turtle eggs and turtles can be protected.

Volunteers: We would like to take up a project to protect the Turtles of Maharashtra.

Villagers: What will you do?

Volunteers: We will do campaigns and use help of locals to protect these turtles.

Villagers: You will be doing a great deed, son.
