 \frac{9}{16} \times  \frac{4}{12} +  \frac{9}{16} \times  \frac{- 3}{ \: 9}    \\  =  \frac{9}{16}   \: ( \frac{4}{12}  -  \frac{3}{9} ) \\  =  \frac{9}{16}  \: ( \frac{1}{3} -  \frac{1}{3}) \\  =  \frac{9}{16}  \times 0 \\  = 0
