 (3x/4)^{2}   -  (y/3)^{2}  

 \implies a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)

Therefore,

 (3x/4)^{2}   -  (y/3)^{2}   = [(3x/4) + (y/3)][(3x/4) - (y/3)]
