Explanation:

  1. Gravitation or just gravity is the force of attraction between any two bodies. All the objects in the universe attract each other with a certain amount of force, but in most of the cases, the force is too weak to be observed due to the very large distance of separation. Besides, gravity’s range is infinite but the effect becomes weaker as objects move away. ex: If a body (ball) is thrown upwards, it reaches a certain height and falls downwards because of the gravity of the earth.
  2. Random motion is a motion in which the particle moves in a zig-zag manner and not in a straight line. It is a type of motion that is unpredictable. In this type of motion the object moves in any direction, and the direction continually changes. ex: atoms and molecules of a substance show random motion when supplied with heat in this case temperature difference.
  3. Oscillatory motion can be termed as the repeated motion in which an object repeats the same movement over and over. In the absence of friction, the oscillatory motion would continue forever; but in the real world, the system eventually settles into equilibrium. ex: vibrating strings, swinging of the swing etc.
  4. A mechanical force can be defined as a force that features some direct contact between two objects (one applying the force and another which is in a state of rest or in a state of motion) and results in the production of a change in the state of the object (state of rest or state of motion).
  5. Periodic motion, in physics, motion repeated in equal intervals of time. Periodic motion is performed, for example, by a rocking chair, a bouncing ball, a vibrating tuning fork, a swing in motion, the Earth in its orbit around the Sun, and a water wave.
  6. Magnetic force, attraction or repulsion that arises between electrically charged particles because of their motion. It is the basic force responsible for such effects as the action of electric motors and the attraction of magnets for iron.
  7. Muscular force is the force applied using parts of the body like arms or legs. It is force that results due to the action of muscles, and is a contact force, since there is a contact between the surfaces. Muscular force is needed whenever movement of the body occurs. Walking, lifting, getting up.
  8. In physics, circular motion is a movement of an object along the circumference of a circle or rotation along a circular path. It can be uniform, with constant angular rate of rotation and constant speed, or non-uniform with a changing rate of rotation.
