Hi there!

Your Answer :-

Use Transposition Method.

In this method, same types of variables get opposite sign when they are interchanged.

\bf9 + 3.5g = 11 - 0.5g

Get 0.5g to the other side. It's sign will be changed. The same will happen with 11 and 9.

\bf3.5g + 0.5g = 11 - 9

Add or subtract the values.

\bf4g = 2

\bf{g =  \frac{1}{2} }

So, the value of g is 1/2 or 0.5.
