(9 - 5 \sqrt{2} )(7 +  \sqrt{2} ) =

63 - 35 \sqrt{2}  + 9 \sqrt{2}  - 10 =

53 - 26 \sqrt{2}  = a + b \sqrt{2}

so a =53 & b = -26
