If the hour hand of clock is pointing 9 AM or PM then if we add 6 hours, it becomes 3AM or PM.

If in your clock it's 9:00 am or pm
And if you add 6 hours to it , it becomes 15:00 am or pm which is 3:00 am or pm according to 12hour clock....
